Our Award-Winning Campaign for Tower Hamlets

Global Assignment and Trevor Ray Hart were commissioned by Tower Hamlets to shoot these ads promoting road safety. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of driving distracted, and to highlight intersections and areas around London that are prone to collisions. We began by casting local schoolchildren as models, then spent 3 days shooting in multiple locations around London to create these images.

Wet weather and local residents irritated at having the roads blocked both presented large challenges, but the end result has received an incredible amount of praise and has won several awards. Some of the awards include: Silver for Best Newspaper Campaign and Bronze for Best Public Service Advertisement from the Creative Circle, Bronze for Best Print Campaign from the Clio awards, and Silver for the Best Outdoor Campaign from Cannes.

On Assignment - Publicis

The original idea for this shoot was to photograph the Kuala Lumpur skyline, but the concept was changed when photographer Jonathan Savoie suggested this location in front of the famous Petronas towers. We shot this advertisement with French agency Publicis.

On Assignment: MAC AIDS Fund

Once a week, the Football for Hope Centre in Kayelitsha, South Africa, is open to girls in the Skillz Street soccer program. The program combines HIV education with soccer instruction and peer-led community outreach activities. This initiative creates a safe space for adolescent girls to play non-competitive soccer, take action in their community, and have vital conversations about HIV and AIDS.
